China In Black And White

Josef Hoflehner is declared to be photographer of the year and here you have an opportunity to see his photos of China in black and white technique. He was born in 1955 in Wels, Austria. He first began to photograph at the age of 20. He had no formal education, he is entirely self taught and I had no mentor. Here is what he says about his photography: “Photography is my life in every aspect and I’m still as enthusiastic about it as I was 30 years ago. I simply cannot imagine doing anything else.”
