Dimitry Yakovina - a talented painter and an amazing graphic illustrator. He was born in Vladivostok and graduated from the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture Academy of Fine Arts, IE Repin and the Berlin Academy of Arts.

Microrealism - is the world of small men, or dwarfs, or elves. This direction was meant for success especially in the English-speaking countries, with their worlds of Carroll, Millna and Tolkien. Dimitry Yakovina created a world of fabulous creatures, which received recognition in the London Club Imagination of Art, where he was recognized as the best artist of 2005 among 120 artists - members of the club.
