Sally Swatland has made these amazing paintings almost in spite to the modern art, as a prove that art and paintings are still allowed to be merely beautiful, without all that darkness and twisted allusions.Her images of young children playing on the beaches are tinged with a sense of nostalgia that reminds us of a bygone time, when a day at the beach offered respite from the busyness of daily life.
